About

Hi, I’m Mireia.

I’m an early childhood and primary teacher, trained in Spain and currently living and working in Australia. Over the years, I’ve felt a clear calling: to educate with calm, with deep respect for childhood, and with a strong connection to what truly matters.

Slow Pedagogy was born from a need to slow down, to observe, and to support children with intention. From a desire to question the fast pace at which we often live (and teach), and to create a space where we can reimagine how we show up for children—more present, more human, more conscious.

Here, I share reflections, resources, activities inspired by Montessori and other respectful approaches, as well as glimpses of my experience in two very different education systems: Spanish and Australian. My aim is not to teach, but to open a conversation, to accompany, and to plant little seeds that—perhaps, like they did for me—might inspire you to rethink the rhythm of how we educate.

Thank you for being here.

I hope this space inspires you as much as it inspires me to share it.
